AB 2520 Cut Red Tape in State Codes

This state bill will update 13 building and health codes that will save California restaurants/bars millions of dollars in unnecessary construction costs. We had unanimous support from all state assembly and senate members until we reached the senate appropriations in August. Unfortunately Senate appropriations members held back this important bill from moving forward. We are regrouping on a 2025 bill that would bring these items back to the legislature.
