AB 1217 Fact Sheet

AB 1217 is a state bill to continue temporary emergency outdoor dining privileges until July 2026. This will also allow for the continuation of temporary outdoor dining in our coastal areas. Without it, the California Coastal Commission will require all outdoor dining without permanent permits to be terminated in March 2024. This was signed by the governor and is currently in effect till July 2026.
